AFFILIATE & ADVERTISING DISCLOSURE

Sage keeps it 100. Here's exactly how StackDen makes money.

LAST UPDATED: 2025

⚡ THE SHORT VERSION

StackDen uses affiliate links and displays ads to keep the site running and Sage well-fed. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a small commission — at zero extra cost to you.

We also run ads on some pages. Those ads may be personalized based on your browsing behavior using cookies.

Neither affiliate relationships nor advertising revenue influences which tools we feature, how we rate them, or what earns a Sage's Pick badge. We only list tools we actually think are worth your time.

🔗 AFFILIATE LINKS

Some of the tool links on StackDen are affiliate links. This means if you click the link and sign up for or purchase a tool, StackDen may receive a commission from the tool's company.

This is a standard practice used by tool directories, review sites, and blogs across the internet. The FTC requires us to disclose this, and we're happy to — transparency is one of Sage's core values.

A few things to know:

Your price never changes. Whether you go through our link or navigate directly, you pay exactly the same amount. The commission comes from the tool company's marketing budget, not your wallet.

Affiliate status does not affect ratings or recommendations. Tools with no affiliate program appear in the directory and can earn Sage's Pick badges just the same as affiliate tools. We don't charge for listings. We don't bump tools up for commission rates.

We'll always tell you. On individual tool pages, tools with affiliate links show a small disclosure note near the Visit button.

📣 ADVERTISING

StackDen displays ads on some pages to help cover the costs of running and maintaining the site.

Our advertising partners may use cookies and other tracking technologies to serve ads that are relevant to you based on your interests and browsing behavior. This is called interest-based advertising or personalized advertising.

You can opt out of interest-based ads by visiting aboutads.info. Opting out doesn't mean you'll see fewer ads — it means the ads you see won't be tailored to your interests.

StackDen does not control which ads are served, and the presence of an ad on this site is not an endorsement of the advertised product or service.

🐱 SAGE'S PROMISE

Sage's editorial independence is non-negotiable. Tools are added to the directory because they're genuinely useful, not because a company paid for placement. Ratings reflect real quality. Descriptions are honest.

If you ever feel like a recommendation is off, or you have questions about how StackDen works, reach out. Sage values your trust more than any commission.
